Where healing begins and hope flows.

Restoration starts here.

We are a faith-informed, trauma-aware, and client-centered counseling practice providing mental health services located inside Hernando Methodist Church. It is designed as a haven of healing, rest, and growth for those seeking emotional and spiritual restoration. Inspired by John 4, where Jesus meets the Samaritan woman at the well, this space invites all to encounter the Living Water in body, mind, and soul. The practice integrates evidence-based therapy with Christian principles, offering counseling for children, adolescents, and adults struggling with mental/spiritual health and life changes.

Our Services

  • A personal place to pause, breathe, and be renewed.

Life can feel heavy at times. Whether you’re carrying anxiety, grief, stress, or simply the weight of everyday responsibilities, individual therapy at Counseling at the Well offers a safe, confidential space to lay those burdens down and begin the journey toward healing and wholeness.

In one-on-one sessions, you’ll meet with a therapist who will walk alongside you as you explore your thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. Together, we’ll identify patterns, uncover your strengths, and develop practical tools for growth, always at a pace that honors your story.

Whether you’re navigating a season of change, processing past hurts, or seeking deeper self-understanding, individual therapy provides:

    • Support and understanding in a calm, welcoming environment

    • Guidance for life’s challenges, from anxiety and depression to relationship struggles and major life transitions

    • Opportunities for spiritual integration, if desired, weaving faith and Scripture into the therapeutic process

    • Practical skills for managing stress, setting boundaries, and creating lasting change

Our desire is to help you experience the refreshment and renewal that comes from honest reflection and God’s gracious presence. At The Well, you don’t have to journey alone. You are invited to come, rest, and take the next step toward the life you were created to live.

  • Finding connection, healing, and hope together

Every family has a unique story: a living web of relationships that can bring deep joy and, at times, real heartache. When communication breaks down or life changes feel overwhelming, it can help to gather around a safe table where everyone is heard. Family therapy at Counseling at the Well offers that space.

In these sessions, the therapist walkings with your family to explore patterns, strengthen understanding, and nurture healthier ways of relating. Together, we’ll look at the challenges you face - whether it is conflict, life transitions, grief, or supporting a loved one’s mental health - and discover practical tools for connection and growth.

Family therapy can help your household:

    • Improve communication so each person feels valued and understood

    • Resolve conflicts and break unhelpful cycles

    • Navigate changes such as loss, adoption, divorce, blended families, or major transitions

    • Build resilience by identifying shared strengths and creating new rhythms of support

Sessions can also weave faith and Scripture into the process, reminding your family of the living water that brings renewal and grace. At The Well, we believe healing relationships is important, and every step in this process is a step toward the peace God longs for your family to know.

  • Nurturing growth, resilience, and hope in young hearts.

Childhood and adolescence are seasons of incredible growth but they can also bring confusion, big feelings, and challenges that feel too heavy for a young person to carry alone. Child and adolescent therapy at Counseling at the Well provides a safe, welcoming space where children and teens can share their stories, learn new skills, and discover their God-given strengths. The therapist uses age-appropriate approaches, such as play therapy, creative expression, experiential interventions, and traditional talk-therapy to help young clients:

    • Understand and express emotions like anxiety, sadness, anger, or worry

    • Develop healthy coping tools for stress, school problems & pressures, or difficulties with peer relationships

    • Work through life transitions such as grief, moves, family changes, etc

    • Build confidence and resilience while strengthening communication with parents and caregivers

Parents and guardians are important partners in the process. We provide regular feedback, guidance, and strategies for supporting growth at home, school, and in the community, creating a circle of care around your child.

If desired, sessions can also include faith-integrated support, reminding children and teens of the God who loves them and walks with them through every stage. At The Well, we believe every young heart is precious, and every step toward healing is a step toward the bright future God has planned for them.

  • Finding strength and understanding in community.

Sometimes the most powerful healing happens when we realize we are not alone. Group therapy at Counseling at the Well brings together people with similar experiences in a safe, supportive setting where encouragement and growth flow freely.

Led by the therapist, each group creates a space for honest conversation, shared learning, and mutual support. Through listening and sharing, you’ll discover new perspectives, practical coping strategies, and the comfort of walking alongside others who truly understand.

    Group therapy can help you:

    • Build connection with others who face similar challenges.

    • Learn and practice new skills for communication, coping, and personal growth.

    • Gain fresh insights by hearing different perspectives and stories.

    • Experience encouragement that fosters hope and resilience.

Some groups focus on specific concerns—such as anxiety, grief, or life transitions—while others offer general support for anyone seeking growth and healing. If desired, groups can also integrate Scripture and spiritual reflection, reminding each participant of God’s presence in the journey.

At The Well, we believe healing is multiplied in community. Group therapy offers a place to be known, to share, and to discover that together, we are stronger than we could ever be alone.
